Cold forged parts to customer specifications

When standard solutions are not sufficient, custom-designed special components enable specific geometric and functional requirements to be met. Based on drawings, CAD data or jointly developed concepts, cold forged parts are produced that are precisely tailored to the respective application. This process allows for the use of different diameters, grooves, flanges, threads, bores and knurling, as well as special profile wires, and even the extrusion of eccentric geometries. Early coordination of component geometry, material and manufacturing process is crucial to developing a solution that is technically and economically optimal.

Cold forging enables even complex geometries to be produced with a high degree of repeatability and efficient use of material. Depending on the component, additional machining steps such as milling, drilling or turning can be integrated directly into the production process. Heat treatments and coatings are also possible in accordance with technical requirements. The high level of vertical integration enables a seamless process chain and reduces interfaces between different suppliers. From the initial feasibility study through tool development to series production, the individual process steps are specifically coordinated with one another. This results in bespoke components that meet technical requirements whilst being designed for cost-effective series production.
