ROLLED PARTS

Cold-forged parts with precise contours and functional profiles.

Form rolling enables the cost-effective production of cold-forged parts with customised contours and functional surfaces. In this process, the material is precisely shaped into the desired form under pressure, without the need for machining. Depending on the component and requirements, features such as spheres, grooves or knurling can be rolled. The knurling (radial, axial or cross-knurling) is applied during the pressing process or by form rolling. The process enables a high degree of repeatability.

Form-rolled contours can be used, amongst other things, for power transmission, positioning, fixing or the creation of positive-lock connections. Combining this with cold extrusion opens up additional design possibilities and allows for the integration of multiple geometric elements into a single component. At the same time, the material remains entirely within the component, enabling efficient production with minimal material loss. Depending on the application, the finished rolled parts can subsequently undergo additional heat treatment or be coated. As both production and further processing are carried out under one roof, process steps can be specifically coordinated with one another. This results in precise rolled parts with customised contours, tailored to the functional and economic requirements of industrial applications.
